Every year, we work with Bush Heritage Australia to purchase and protect the Australian landscape.

The problem

We recognise that the industries we work in can be notoriously wasteful. While we work every day to reduce the impact of our projects, we know our passion and commitment toward more sustainable outcomes is atypical to the status-quo.

Globally, the retail industry contributes approximately 92 million tonnes of waste to landfill each year. Comprising packaging, textiles, fixtures, signage, architectural items and equipment, it is one of the most wasteful industies in the world.

The solution

At the project level, we know our ability to make impact is limited, so we support our project efforts with an annual donation to Bush Heritage Australia. So far, we have helped purchase and protect over 235,000 hectares of endangered ecosystems.

By working with Room One, you are part of the initiative. We are extremely thankful to every client who helps us save the natural landscape by working with us. Supported by our clients, we have proudly protected over 350 acres across three different reserves.

Bush Heritage Australia is a leading conservation organization focused on protecting native ecosystems. They plant native trees and shrubs to restore and regenerate bushland.
